We are excited to unveil the 2020 Drag Racing Schedule at Firebird. This year’s calendar of events starts in late March and finishes at the end of October.

As a prelude to the drag racing season, the year kicks off at Expo Idaho with the 48th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Boise Roadster Show. Presented by Les Schwab Tires, the ISCA Summit Show Car Series event returns March 13-15.

Celebrating a very special milestone, the 50th Anniversary NAPA Ignitor Nitro Opener is set for May 1-3. We look forward to playing host to the opening stop in the Lucas Oil Drag Race Series in the great northwest. Additionally, the Ignitor will feature AA/Funny Cars competing in the 2020 NHRA Heritage point’s chase.

Mark your calendars for August 6-9, Firebird’s “signature event”, the 49th Annual Nightfire Nationals features Nitro cars, Pro Mods, Jets and the “Outlaw” Wheelstander under the lights. We’re also very excited to be the home of the oldest major bracket tournament in North America. The Bracketeers will showcase Firebird’s richest sportsman purse of the season. We guarantee it will be the “RACE OF THE YEAR“!

Following an acclaimed inaugural appearance at Firebird, we are thrilled to announce the return of Street Outlaws – No Prep Kings. Featured before a world wide audience on the Discover channel, the stars of Street Outlaws will battle it out in door-handle-to-door-handle warfare on August 28-29.

The NAPA Halloween Classic XXVII is locked in for October 7-11. Customary to past years, it will be the Halloween party of the year for over 500 racers who will be participating in the final major event of the season.
