We have been extra busy this off-season putting all the final pieces in place for the upcoming season. To put it mildly, it promises to be one of the best yet. The 2020 track schedules have mailed. Or you can pick up a schedule at any track sponsor location.

Starting in late-March and continuing through the middle of October, this year’s schedule is loaded with tons of fun events and activities.

The grand daddy returns this August. The 49th Annual Nightfire Nationals is set for August 6-9. The Nightfire will be aligned with the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series. The Nightfire will feature Nitro cars, Pro Modified Doorslammers, Jets, Wheelstander and the return of the famed Bracketeer Series.

Many recognizable and highly popular events return on the Firebird 2020 schedule, too. The Fairly Reliable Bob’s Club Challenge Series, Idaho Army Nat’l Guard High School & Alumni Championships and more start in the Spring and wrap up in September.

We will launch the new season with the Division 6 Lucas Oil Drag Race Series.  A very special 50th Anniversary celebration will take place during the NAPA Auto Parts Ignitor. Presented by Peterson Chevrolet, the event returns May 1-3. Classes include: AA/Funny Cars, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Comp, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Sportsman Motorcycle/Sled, Super Pro, Pro, and Heavy.

May 30-31 marks the annual stop for the Project Filter Oldies But Goodies Drags. AA/Supercharged coupes, Pro Comp, Old School Gassers and many more categories will be featured at the nostalgia race `n show.

The Little Caesars Pizza Great American Fox Hunt returns over the June 12-13 weekend. Presented by Bronco Motors, the Fox Hunt showcases Jets, Funny Cars and the Outlaw wheelstander. Unique to the Fox Hunt weekend, all ladies get in for free.

The NAPA Auto Parts Halloween Classic XXVII event will help to close out the major event calendar over October 7-11 weekend.

But easily one of the most talked about events on the track schedule will be the Street Outlaws – No Prep Kings race. Set for August 28-29, the Discovery channel will be filming “live” at the NPK-Idaho stop. Capture tickets online today.
