The momentum is quickly building for one of the most popular participant events of the season. The Summit E.T. Finals will take place at Firebird this coming Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-6, 2020.
The E.T. Finals offers a multitude of racing opportunities for qualified racers. Each team can field up to 62 participants. Racing will include Gamblers (Fri), Race of Champions (Sat) and the Main Team race on Sunday.
Originally scheduled to take place at Woodburn Dragstrip, the Northwest Division steering committee in coordination with Division 6 Director Matt Levonas reached a decision in today’s climate to re-position and shift the race to Idaho. “Woodburn is a fantastic facility operated by the Severance family,” mentioned Firebird manager Scott New. “We were all really looking forward to going their track this year, but circumstances beyond their control mandated the change in this year’s host track. Out of respect to their fine operation, all of us are confident and eager to return to the Finals in Woodburn in 2021.”
