Firebird will play host to two exciting events this weekend. Friday night, Sept. 16, features the Fairly Reliable Bob’s Club Challenge Series Finals. Sunday, Sept. 18, marks the return of the Les Schwab Fall Best of Detroit presented by Kidd Performance.

Friday opens at noon, while time trials run from 1:30 pm until 6:15 pm. First round of eliminations gets underway at 6 pm. On Sunday, gates open at 8 am, and eliminations start at 2 pm.

The Club Series finals will see the final spots locked in for the Quality Trailer Stakes Club Grand Championships (at Classic XXIX). Additionally, championships will be awarded in the Silver, Bronze and Copper Cup standings.

Best of Detroit will showcase the Chevy Cup, Ford Cup, Mopar Cup and the Buick-Olds-Pontiac Cup classes. In addition, Gold Cup racing will be contested in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Sled/Bike, Pro Comp, Jr. Dragster and Jr. Street.

Firebird is located 5 miles north of Hwy 44 on Hwy 16 about ten minutes northwest of Eagle (follow the highway signage).
