Firebird will play host to two exciting events this weekend. Friday night, Sept. 20, features the Fairly Reliable Bobs/Quality Trailer Club Challenge Grand Championships. Then Sunday, Sept. 22, marks the return of the Les Schwab Fall Best of Detroit presented by Kidd Performance.

Friday opens at 10 am, while time trials run from 11:30 am till 4 pm. First round of eliminations kicks off at 4 pm. On Sunday, gates open at 8 am, and eliminations are set to start at 2 pm.

The Club Series finals will see the Quality Trailer Stakes Club Grand Championships as the top 24 in Silver, top 16 in Bronze and the top 8 in the Copper Cup standings square off in the season finale.

Then Sunday, the Best of Detroit will showcase the Chevy Cup, Ford Cup, Mopar Cup and the Buick-Olds-Pontiac Cup classes. In addition, Gold Cup racing will be contested in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Sled/Bike, Pro Comp, Jr. Dragster and Jr. Street.

Firebird is located 5 miles north of Hwy 44 on Hwy 16 about ten minutes northwest of Eagle (follow the highway signage).
