There’s two exciting events scheduled this weekend at Firebird. The Fairly Reliable Bob’s Club Challenge Series Kickoff is Friday night, July 16. Then Saturday night, July 17, it’s time for the return of the Midnight Drags presented by Peterson Chevrolet.
Friday opens at noon, followed by eliminations at 6 pm. By purchasing tickets in advance of the event, your adult pit-side admission runs $13 ($15 day of the event), 6-12 $5 and 5 & under are free.
Saturday open at 7 pm. Grudge racing is scheduled from 8 pm until midnight. By purchasing tickets in advance of the event, your adult pit-side admission runs $12 ($14 day of the event), 6-12 $5 and 5 & under are free.
The fourth stop n the six-race Club Series is currently led by the: Flying Brick in the Silver Cup, Treasure Valley Mopars in the Bronze and Valley Vettes in the Copper.
Saturday’s late-night race is open to any muffled car or truck. The event offers grudge racing, so you can race your co-worker, friend or anyone else for that matter, in head-to-head competition.
Racing will be contested over the quarter-mile distance.
