Congratulations to every member of the Firebird team for winning the 2026 Manager’s Cup at the Summit E.T. Finals presented by Hoosier Tire staged at Qlispe Raceway Park outside Airway Heights, Washington.
56 of Firebird’s top Gold Cup racers participated over Labor Day weekend in Spokane. All toll, upwards of 600 racers attended the event on behalf of 18 Division 6 member tracks.
Competing in the Race of Champions, both Duston Wurtz (Super Pro) and Jaxson Gonzales (Jr. Thunder) collected NHRA Diamond Wally trophies, while quite a number of racers on the Firebird team went deep in eliminations. Congratulations to everyone who supported this year’s amazing effort!!!
Thursday evening Garrett Squire won the Best on Best special race featuring the #1 racer from each of the representing Northwest Division member tracks in a winner take all contest.
