Congratulations to Sean Shaffer who swept the Super Pro Race of Champions on Sunday, September 4th, at Mission Raceway Park.

ThirteenĀ tracks participated at the Summit E.T. Finals include an enthusiastic 36 racers running for Team Firebird at Mission Raceway Park.

Shaffer not only won the $3,000 winner’s prize, but also a trip to Pomona, Calif., in November to compete in an elite 8 car field to run for the Summit Super Pro national championship.

Coming oh so close to winning the Sled/Bike eliminator, Team Firebird’s Chad Hofert earned runner-up aboard his 8-second Street Bike.

In the final team point’s standings, Firebird earned a sixth place finish. Team Pacific knocked off Woodburn for first and second in the final standings. The Race of Champions event continues into Monday as the middle rounds of racing came to a conclusion in the Race of Champions showdown late Sunday evening.
