We were very sorry to learn about the recent passing of NHRA Museum Executive Director Larry Fisher.

Fisher first joined forces with the Museum located on the Fairplex grounds in Pomona, Calif., in 2012. He was keenly involved in helping to preserve the history of the NHRA, in addition to overseeing both Hot Rod Reunion events in Bakersfield and Bowling Green, along with the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series.

“Larry was a person you instantly liked, mentioned Firebird general manager Scott New. “He always welcomed us with open arms at the Museum and during the Hot Rod Reunion. In fact, at the SEMA show four years ago, Larry helped inspire us to pursue a nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. He will be missed.”
