The NAPA Auto Parts Halloween Classic returns to Firebird Raceway October 8–12 for five thrilling days of racing, festivities, and Halloween fun. Widely known as one of the biggest and most popular events of the season, the Classic is the Fall tradition you don’t want to miss. Lock in your spot today by pre-registering online.
🏆 Main Event Categories
The core Classic competition will showcase these exciting categories:
- Super Pro
- Pro
- Heavy
- Sportsman
- Sled/Bike
Each overall champion will take home a coveted NHRA Idaho State Championship Wally award plaque.
👨👩👧 Junior Dragsters
Saturday features Junior Dragster racers competing in age-based divisions. On Sunday, Lightning and Thunder will square off for NHRA Junior Drag Racing League Wally trophies.
🚀 Top Gun Shootout
The always-popular Top Gun Shootout returns! The 16 quickest full-bodied cars will square off against the 16 quickest open-wheeled machines in a head-to-head showdown. Billed as the “War to Settle the Score,” this race-within-a-race is a Classic favorite.
🎲 Bonus Races
On Thursday and Friday, racers can jump into one of these bonus races (each day), including:
- Super Roller
- No Box/Hi-Roller
- No Box/Gambler
- Sled/Bike Gambler
🎃 Family Fun & Halloween Spirit
The Classic is more than racing — it’s a Halloween celebration! Saturday brings a full slate of kid-friendly fun in the pit area:
- Kids games & coloring contest
- Costume contest
- Decorated Pit Area
- Trick-or-treating
- And more spooky surprises!
🔮 Don’t forget your costumes and pit decorations! On Saturday, October 11th, we’re challenging all race teams to bring their most creative, over-the-top Halloween setups. Who will steal the show?
🌽 Corn Hole Competition
Kick things off early with the 10th Annual Corn Hole Tournament on Tuesday, October 7th at 6 PM. Open to all pre-entered teams camping at the raceway, this two-person contest takes place in the staging lanes. Bring your boards and bean bags!
