Racing returns to Firebird this weekend with a pair of exciting events. Saturday night features the Peterson Chevrolet Midnight Grudge Drags and Sunday offers the Import Face Off event presented in part by NAPA Auto Parts.

Gates open Sat., Sept. 11, at 7 pm, followed by grudge racing from 8 pm until midnight. Sunday opens at 8 am, time trials at 10 am, and eliminations at 1 pm.

SATURDAY marks the final Midnight event of the 2021 Season. The grudge night is open to muffled cars and trucks. Match up’s will be contested over the quarter-mile and you can qualify for the 100 mph club. Capture your race entry or tickets (link): ONLINE

SUNDAY EVENT ACTIVITIES include a car show, drag racing, stereo contest, burnout contest, 2 step competition, low car limbo, DJ, vendors, models and more!!!

Gates open (on Sept. 12) at 8am, tech 8:30, Racing starts at 10 am, Eliminations near 1 pm. Car Show and stereo contest roll in is from 9 am to 12 noon, absolute latest 2pm. Even though this is an import and sport compact special event, test runs will be offered for domestic (Ford, Chevy, Mopar, Pontiac, etc.) cars and trucks. Event concludes: 6 pm.
