We are excited to play host to a pair of fun events this weekend as the Gold Cup chase heats back up at Firebird. Saturday features the Boise Muffler Gold Cup Showdown, while Sunday features the 21st Annual Larry Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Best of Detroit Showdown presented by Kidd Performance and Les Schwab Tires.

Racers planning to compete on both Saturday and Sunday can pre-park and secure credentials (two-day entry required) on Fri., Sept. 22, from 4 pm till 6 pm. Or you can purchase your tech cards/crew passes on Saturday morning no later than 9 am.

One of the cool aspects to Best of Detroit is the Member Track Madness trophy (pictured at right). The custom made NHRA award will be presented to the overall Best of Detroit runoff champion. The winner will also receive a pair of tickets to the 2017 NHRA national event of your choice.

Gates open daily at 9 am (time trials from 10 am until 1:30 pm), while first round of eliminations will get underway at 2 pm. Daily adult pit-side admission is $12, while kids 6-12.
