The calendar turns to October this weekend, and Firebird is gearing up for a full day of racing with the Pre-Classic Warm Up on Saturday, Oct. 3.

With the Halloween Classic just around the corner, Saturday offers racers a prime opportunity to make laps, fine-tune combinations and enjoy more than five hours of open testing and grudge racing on the Firebird quarter-mile.

The track is open to just about anything on wheels—from dragsters and door cars to trucks, roadsters, and motorcycles. Whether you’re preparing for the Classic or simply looking to make some passes before the season winds down, all elapsed times are welcome.

Adding to the day, High School, Alumni, Jr. Dragster and Jr. Street competitors will take center stage with qualifying in the morning and eliminations beginning at 2 pm.

Gates open at 9 am, with testing and grudge racing from 10 am until 5:30 pm.

It’s one more chance to light the win lights before Firebird shifts into high gear for the biggest sportsman racing weekend of the fall.
