The Division 6 Lucas Oil Drag Race Series returns this Friday-Sunday, May 20-22, a staple on the Firebird track schedule since 1969.

This event marks the opening point’s stop in the Northwest Division in 2022, along with key race in the Boise Muffler/NAPA Gold Cup chase.

Test `n tune runs are available for Lucas Oil Drag Race Series and Gold Cup competitors on Thursday afternoon. Qualifying and time trials on Friday. Saturday will feature qualifying and time trials, along with head-to-head class competition in both Super Stock and Stock. In addition, a special $5K to win Gambler race will be showcased on Sat. afternoon. Sunday’s final eliminations get underway for all categories at 9 am.

Racing will be offered in Comp, Super Stock, Stock, Top Dragster, Top Sportsman and Sportsman Motorcycle/Sled. Heads up competition will be staged in Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street. Gold Cup eliminations will be offered (with premium points available) in Super Pro, Pro and Heavy.
