NHRA Chassis Certification will be offered at Expo Idaho during the 53rd Annual Boise Roadster Show weekend. Inspections and chassis tags will be available on Saturday, March 14, providing racers a convenient opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season.
Racers running 9.99 or quicker (or 135 mph or faster) are encouraged to participate in the NHRA Chassis Inspection program. Inspections will take place in the main spectator parking lot located on the south end of the Fairgrounds facility.
As a courtesy to the NHRA and Firebird Raceway teams coordinating the certification day, racers are encouraged to contact Firebird in advance at 208-938-8986 or via email to be added to the inspection list.
Certification hours will run from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 14. Tags will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Sportsman chassis certifications are $170 and valid for three years, while professional-level certifications will be available for $260.
In addition, Firebird Raceway will host a booth inside the Roadster Show, where racers and fans can learn more about the upcoming 2026 racing season. Attendees will also have the opportunity to secure race numbers and complete Gold Cup/Club registration.
