Congratulations to a number of  Idaho sharp shooters who hit big paydays at the Fall Fling in Las Vegas.

Christopher Northup won Friday’s $10K race at the wheel of his dragster. On Saturday, Sean Shaffer defeated Christopher in an all-Idaho final round. Running the Camaro roadster owned by Mike Coltrin, Shaffer defeated Northup to nail down the lion’s share of the $50K prize.

Tip of the hat to Aaron Marcum, too, who finished runner-up in the Saturday 64-car Shootout final.

In addition, veteran Jim Glenn who competed one week earlier at Firebird’s Halloween Classic, traveled to Vegas to score the weekend’s biggest prize. Glenn captured the $100K at the wheel of his recognizable Pontiac Firebird door car.
