The Boise Muffler Gold Cup Series attracted a good turnout of racers on Sat., Sept. 23, 2017. New championships were buttoned up in several classes.
Most noteworthy was the Meridian Auto Ranch Outlet Pro class. At day’s end, Lisa Thomas, Bruce Stewart and Sean Shaffer tied for the championship. They will run it off on Saturday afternoon of the NAPA Halloween Classic. Congratulations to Patrick Bailey for winning his second straight Capitol City Transmission Nostalgia title. David Meimann held off Mike Ritz to sweep the United Oil Sportsman title. More racing continues on Sunday.
