The Division 6 Lucas Oil Drag Race Series is Friday-Sunday, June 2-4, a staple on the Firebird track calendar of events dating back to 1969.

This event marks the opening point’s stop in the Northwest Division at Firebird, along with a key race in the Boise Muffler Gold Cup series.

Test `n tune runs are available for Lucas Oil Drag Race Series and Gold Cup competitors on Thursday afternoon. Qualifying and time trials will take place on Friday. Saturday will feature qualifying and time trials, along with head-to-head class competition in both Super Stock and Stock.

In addition, a number of bonus races will be offered on Friday and Saturday, along with a special $5K to win Gambler race (on Sat. afternoon). Sunday’s final eliminations get underway for all categories at 9 am.

Racing will be offered in Comp, Super Stock, Stock, Top Dragster, Top Sportsman and Sportsman Motorcycle/Sled. Heads up competition will be staged in Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street. Gold Cup eliminations will be offered (with premium points on the line) in Super Pro, Pro or Heavy.
