The race marks a key stop in the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series for both AA/Funny Car and AA/Fuel Dragster. Both #1 ranked teams are pre-entered. Michigan’s Shawn Bowen is #1 in Funny Car after a runner-up finish at the season opening Ignitor in May. In Top Fuel, Mendy Fry leads the charge after scoring an impressive win at the NHRA Reunion in Bowling Green, Kentucky, this past June.

The fan favorite AA/Fuel Altereds will compete in their own nitro eliminator on Friday thru Sunday, too. We are excited about the return of reigning Nightfire champion “the Tramp”, which will be piloted by Bryan Hall.

The event will also showcase the spectacular, wheelstanding Jelly Belly Stagecoach of Ed “the Outlaw” Jones. Jet Funny Cars, both Warped Speed and Tomahawk, will help light up the skyline under the lights on Friday-Sunday.
