September will be a busy month at Firebird with five events over the course of three weekends. This weekend marks the return of the Fairly Reliable Bob’s Club Challenge Series on Friday, September 9th, followed by the United Dairymen Fall High School and Alumni Championships on Sunday, September 11th.
Friday marks the final stop in the Club Series. Several teams are battling it out in the Silver, Bronze and Copper Cup standings as we decide all three titles this Friday. Following five events, twenty-seven teams are ranked as follows:
Club Challenge StandingsIndividually, all racers will be duking it out for a position in the Quality Trailer Stakes, the “race within a race” staged on Wednesday afternoon, October 12th, of the NAPA Halloween Classic. The overall winner is not only crowned the Club Grand Champion, but will also take home a trailer from Quality Trailer Sales.

Sunday is the culmination of the four-race High School & Alumni chase. Nine classes will be contested at the one day event. Firebird track championships will be on the line in High School team and individual, Alumni, Street Truck, Factory Muscle, Street Bike, Outlaw Street and Super Shifter. The Junior Dragster class will also be contested at their first race since the Pre-Nightfire race on July 30th.

*Test runs will be offered in the morning and afternoon with a separate test “block” offered for all racers looking to make runs with their car or truck 10.00 and slower.
Gates will open at 2 pm on Friday, followed racing at 6:30 pm.
Sunday opens at 9 am, and eliminations will follow at 2 pm.
