The historic Nightfire Nationals will reach a new milestone this August, celebrating 50 years in 2021! Mark your calendars today for the golden anniversary Nightfire: August 5-8, 2021.
Looking back in time, many of the greats have raced at our “Signature Event of the Year”. Drivers like John Force, Don “the Snake” Prudhomme, Ed “the Ace” McCulloch, Tom “the Mongoose” McEwen, “240 Gordie” Bonin and others have collected Nightfire hardware dating back to the beginning.
The drama and excitement of Nitro will be showcased on Friday through Sunday. AA/Funny Car, AA/Fuel Dragster and AA/Fuel Altered will compete at Firebird’s granddaddy weekend in August. The Nightfire will be one of the key stops in the 2021 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series national championship. In addition, the 2021 event will feature the Xtreme Pro Mods West in wheel-to-wheel competition amongst several of the top runners in the blown, nitrous and turbocharged doorslammer ranks.
In addition, we look forward to showcasing quite a number of the west’s top blown, nitrous and turbo Pro Modifieds. The Nightfire will also be featuring the earth-shaking, fire-blasting Jets and the wheelstanding “Outlaw” Stagecoach, too.
As the Nightfire turns 50, it is also extra special that our member track affiliation with the NHRA celebrates a remarkable of 70 amazing years in 2021, too. As most would agree, two significant milestones for two historic entities!!!

Racer and Crew Credentials (for Bracketeer/Super Pro, Pro, Heavy, Sled/Bike and Top Fire classes) can now be secured for the August event at Firebird, too.
