The 46th edition of the Project Filter Oldies But Goodies Drags returns Sat-Sun., May 30-31 2026. A combination of nostalgia race `n show classes will be offered, along with the Boise Muffler Gold Cup Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts at this two-day event.
The AA/Supercharged coupes and sedans will headline this year’s two-day event. We’re also very excited for the return of the A/FX eliminator teams who will battle it out in wheels up, head-to-head door car action!
Several Gold Cup eliminators will also be contested on both Saturday and Sunday. The Comfort Source Pro Comp eliminator will qualify on Sat., and compete in eliminations on Sun.
Additionally, racing will be staged in a variety of nostalgia race categories (1989 or older). Another big hit of the weekend is the annual show `n shine that will take place in Firebird’s paved upper pit area. Similar to the Oldies specific race categories, the show is open to 1989 or older entries. Both Saturday and Sunday will offer a multitude of special show plaques on both Sat. and Sun.
A four and a half decade tradition at Firebird, the Oldies weekend is annually supported by the Melba Outlaws, Vintage Gems, Hooligan Hot Rodders and The Barons.
