We’re counting down the days to one of the most anticipated weekends on the Firebird calendar—the return of the 45th Annual Project Filter Oldies But Goodies Drags `n Show!
This two-day spectacle celebrates vintage speed, style, and horsepower with a mix of thrilling drag racing and classic car show action. Whether you’re a racer, a die-hard fan, or just love the rumble of old-school muscle, there’s something for everyone.
Headlining the Action: AA/Supercharged Shootout
Leading the pack is defending champion Scott White, Seaside, Oregon, with his 210+ MPH, track-record-holding 1941 Willys coupe. This green and black beast is back to defend its title against a number of challengers.
NEW for 2025: Idaho A/FX Invitational
Making its debut this year is the Idaho A/FX Eliminator, an all-new invitational class expected to draw a big field thanks to Dan Davis Racing’s support. Don’t miss this first-ever feature!
Full Lineup of Racing Classes
The Oldies Drags will feature a wide range of racing categories each day, including:
- Gold Cup Series: Super Pro, Pro, Sled/Bike, and Sportsman
- Specialty Classes: Pro Comp, Idaho A/FX Eliminator
- Oldies Brackets: #1, #2, and #3 – open to 1989 and older vehicles
Show ‘n Shine in Firebird’s paved upper Pit Area
Each day will feature a separate Show ‘n Shine, open to all pre-1989 vehicles. Show entries will be staged in the paved upper pro pit area, providing a prime location for spectators and photographers alike. A number of special awards will be handed out daily.

- Sat. opens: 7:30 am | Sun. opens: 7:30 am
- Time trials: Daily throughout the morning
- Sat. eliminations: 2 pm | Sun. eliminations: 11:30 am
- Sat. concludes: 7 pm | Sun. concludes: 4:30 pm
