The NIGHTFIRE is Idaho’s premiere motorsports event!

The 54th edition of the Nightfire Nationals presented by Bi-Mart is Firebird’s signature event every Summer. Mark your calendars today for the weekend of August 1, 2 & 3, 2025.

Looking back in time, many of the greats have raced at our at the Nightfire. Drivers like Don “the Snake” Prudhomme, Ed “the Ace” McCulloch, Tom “the Mongoose” McEwen, “240 Gordie” Bonin, Jerry “the King” Ruth, John Force, Gary Densham, “Jungle Jim” Lieberman, Pisano & Matsubura and others have collected hardware dating back to the beginning.

The drama and excitement of Nitro will be showcased on Friday through Sunday. In addition to a pit full of AA/Funny Cars, AA/Fuel Altereds and Top Fuelers, the Nightfire will also feature the earth-shaking, fire-blasting Jets cars looking to bust the 280 mph barrier, too.

Hundreds of racers from fifteen states and Canada will be competing in the nationally-acclaimed Bracketeer Series. If you can only make one race at Firebird this season, THIS IS THE ONE NOT TO MISS!!!
