Here’s your chance to come run the wheels off your car, truck, motorcycle or sled for five plus hours of fun during the Open Test Day on Saturday, Sept. 30th. We will feature quarter-mile grudge racing or track testing. Gates open at 9 am.
This marks the third to the last event left on Firebird’s 2023 racing calendar.
Testing is open to all racers (any elapsed time) whether you run a dragster, door car or truck, roadster, drag sled or motorcycle.
In addition, a quartet of classes will be contested throughout the day. High School, Alumni, Jr. Dragster and Jr. Street eliminators will qualify in the morning followed by eliminations during the afternoon.
Saturday night will offer a completely separate Late Night Drags for those who might like additional track time and an opportunity to grudge race. Gates will open at 6 pm for grudge drags (hot track 7 pm till 11 pm).

TECH CARD: As a convenience to both you and Firebird’s tech team, click on the hyperlink above and completely fill out the .pdf form on your computer including information like your Snell 2015 or 2020 helmet, seat belt tags, etc. Please print the 8.5 x 11 sheet, sign the bottom of the sheet (fold it in half and attach to the hard copy of the card you’ll receive at the entrance gates upon arrival). This will simplify and help to expedite your safety inspection process at the raceway.
