All of us at Firebird are excited to play host to the prestigious NHRA Summit E.T. Finals. Racers will be participating over Labor Day weekend on Thurs.-Sun., Sept. 1-4.

We will be looking to assemble Firebird’s “best” 62 Gold Cup racers to compete on this year’s Firebird team.  Looking back in time, Team Firebird has secured seven Division 6 titles. The team’s slogan for 2022 is, “Wouldn’t EIGHT be GREAT!”

Thursday will offer a test `n tune day. Friday will feature a full slate of Gambler classes and time trials. Saturday is the Race of Champions. And Sunday will be the battle for the Team Championship. It’s four consecutive days of racing and fun.

Winners in the Race of Champions (Sat) will earn a spot to run for the Summit national championship. The caveat is not only a Wally trophy, embroidered jacket and prize money, but also a $3,000 travel incentive to run for an additional $5,000 and the NHRA Summit national championship.

Not many other events all season long match the atmosphere of the E.T. Finals. The team spirit and enthusiasm of this unique event is nothing shy of amazing.
