It was quite a day at the annual American Classifieds Idaho Fall Swap Meet & Drag Races at Firebird. Winning the inaugural Open Comp eliminator, Mike Drummond drove his Ontario Tire Factory `69 Mustang to an impressive six-round victory. The unique .400 Pro Light class attracted 34 entries in its first offering.

Mike Ritz also enjoyed quite a day of racing. He finished runner-up in Sportsman elimination, in addition to winning the overall King Kong 100 MPH runoff with his 2014 Corvette. The victory earned him what the track boasted as the “biggest” trophy of the season.
